Jugurtha Boumali

Osteopath DO, founder of Urgent-Osteo

Combining Health, Movement, and Balance

Originally from France, Jugurtha Boumali is a passionate osteopath now based in Montreal. A former high-level athlete and sports coach, he brings his deep understanding of the body in motion to his practice, offering a comprehensive, gentle, and effective approach to care.

Guided by the belief that movement is at the heart of health, Jugurtha helps each patient regain mobility, balance, and long-term well-being.

Graduated from the École d’Ostéopathie de Paris, Jugurtha received a complete five-year education covering all aspects of osteopathic medicine: structural, visceral, cranial, and tissue techniques.

Before settling in Canada, he co-founded Urgence-Ostéopathes in the Paris region — a clinic specialized in the treatment of acute and urgent osteopathic conditions. This experience allowed him to refine his diagnostic skills and to develop calm precision, even in complex or emergency situations.

Now practicing in Montreal at the URGENT-OSTEO clinic, Jugurtha welcomes patients of all ages — from newborns to athletes — offering individualized, attentive, and effective care. He is also a member of the Quebec Association of Osteopaths (AQO), a professional organization that upholds the highest standards of osteopathic practice in Quebec. His membership ensures that his care is safe, ethical, and evidence-based.

A Gentle and Adaptive Approach

Every patient is unique. Jugurtha tailors each treatment to the person’s body, history, and specific needs. His approach is founded on three key principles:

  • Efficiency – achieving meaningful and lasting results;
  • Gentleness – respecting the body’s rhythm and physiology;
  • Adaptability – adjusting techniques to suit each situation.

During each session, he combines structural, visceral, and cranial techniques to restore balance, improve mobility, and enhance the body’s natural self-healing abilities.

Areas of Expertise

Sports Osteopathy

As a former athlete and coach, Jugurtha understands the demands placed on the body by training and competition. He helps athletes of all levels to:

  • Prevent injuries;
  • Improve performance;
  • Support muscle recovery and flexibility.

Discogenic Pain and Spinal Conditions

Specialized in the management of discogenic pain and discopathies, he treats:

  • Low back pain, sciatica, and neck pain;
  • Herniated discs and related nerve compressions;
  • Postural imbalances and chronic mechanical stress.

His approach aims to reduce pain, release deep tension, and restore optimal spinal function.

Postpartum Osteopathy

Trained in postpartum rehabilitation, Jugurtha assists women after childbirth to regain comfort, stability, and mobility. He provides support for:

  • Pelvic and lumbar pain;
  • Muscular recovery after delivery;
  • Postural realignment and breathing patterns.

Pediatric Osteopathy – Gentle Care for Newborns

Jugurtha is also trained in pediatric osteopathy, offering gentle, precise treatments for newborns and infants. He helps relieve common conditions such as:

  • Infant colic;
  • Congenital torticollis;
  • Plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome).

His delicate, non-invasive touch aims to restore comfort, ease movement, and support the baby’s healthy development after birth.

Movement as a Philosophy

For Jugurtha Boumali, osteopathy is more than a therapy — it is a philosophy of movement. He believes that when the body regains its freedom, health follows naturally.

Inspired by his background as an athlete, he approaches each session with precision, attentiveness, and respect. His goal is to help patients rediscover fluid movement, inner balance, and lasting vitality.

A Practice Built on Listening and Trust

Each consultation is a genuine exchange. Jugurtha takes the time to listen carefully, to understand the source of discomfort, and to explain his approach clearly. His practice is grounded in empathy, transparency, and patient education.

At the end of a session, he often shares personalized advice — simple exercises, posture corrections, or lifestyle tips — to help patients extend the benefits of their treatment and take an active role in their recovery.

Who Can Benefit from Osteopathic Care?

  • Newborns: colic, torticollis, plagiocephaly, or discomfort after birth;
  • Pregnant and postpartum women: pelvic or back pain, recovery support;
  • Athletes: performance optimization, prevention, and recovery;
  • Adults: chronic pain, stiffness, stress, or digestive issues;
  • Seniors: mobility maintenance and improved comfort in daily life.

A Vision of Health and Harmony

Through his experience and holistic philosophy, Jugurtha Boumali aims to help everyone reconnect with their body, move freely, and achieve balance between strength and relaxation. For him, being an osteopath means guiding the body back to its natural state of balance, empowering patients to understand themselves, and supporting long-term health through movement and mindfulness.

Elisa Herenui

Ostéopathe DO

Movement as a Source of Balance and Healing

Born in French Polynesia, Elisa Herenui Fraysse grew up surrounded by movement and a natural connection to the body. From an early age, she developed a genuine fascination for physical activity and the body’s ability to adapt and express itself.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, she practiced trail running and Polynesian canoeing (Va’a) at a competitive level, experiences that taught her perseverance, body awareness, and the importance of balance between strength and fluidity.

Passionate about horseback riding, Elisa has also cultivated a deep appreciation for the relationship between the body, balance, and breath — an understanding that she now integrates naturally into her osteopathic practice.

A Strong Academic Foundation and a Global Vision of Care

Graduated from ISOSTEO Lyon, Elisa completed a comprehensive five-year education in osteopathy, combining scientific rigor with clinical experience.

She later specialized in two fields that reflect both her background and her values:

  • Sports osteopathy, to help athletes and active individuals prevent injuries and recover effectively.
  • Pediatric osteopathy, to support children’s development with gentle, adapted care.

Curious and open-minded, Elisa has traveled extensively, discovering new cultures and diverse views on health and wellness. These experiences have enriched her understanding of the human body and deepened her appreciation for the complexity of living systems.

Human Experience and Attentive Listening

Before moving to Montreal, Elisa worked closely with children with disabilities and patients in care facilities, encounters that profoundly shaped her view of osteopathy.

Through these experiences, she developed a deep sensitivity to nonverbal communication — learning to listen not only to words but also to the body’s subtle signals and emotional expressions.

This attentive approach defines her practice today: every gesture is guided by observation, respect, and a genuine desire to understand the patient’s needs.

A Practice Rooted in Movement and Individuality

Elisa practices a global form of osteopathy, combining techniques that restore motion and balance throughout the body. Her treatments integrate structural, visceral, cranial, and fascial approaches, tailored to each patient’s specific situation.

She views osteopathy as an alliance between movement, care, and individuality, aiming to guide every person toward a lasting harmony between body and mind.

Osteopathy for Newborns and Children

Specialized in pediatric osteopathy, Elisa also treats newborns and infants with gentle, precise, and non-invasive techniques. She helps address common conditions such as:

  • Infant colic;
  • Congenital torticollis;
  • Reflux and digestive discomfort;
  • Plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome).

Her delicate touch helps release tension from birth, improve comfort, and support healthy motor development.

A Holistic Approach for All

Elisa works with patients of all ages and backgrounds:

  • Athletes, for performance optimization, prevention, and recovery;
  • Pregnant and postpartum women, to support the body before and after childbirth;
  • Children and teenagers, to address posture or growth-related discomforts;
  • Adults, to relieve chronic pain, improve posture, and restore mobility.

Each session is a genuine exchange. Elisa takes the time to explain her approach, share insights, and offer personalized advice — from exercises and posture corrections to daily habits — helping her patients take an active role in their well-being.

Professional Commitment and Ethics

Now based in Montreal, Elisa Herenui Fraysse is a member of the Quebec Association of Osteopaths (AQO), a professional organization that ensures the highest standards of safety, ethics, and practice quality in Quebec.

She continues to train regularly, expanding her expertise to provide her patients with precise, evidence-informed, and compassionate care.

A Philosophy of Movement and Connection

For Elisa, the human body is a living system capable of self-regulation — as long as it regains its natural freedom of movement. Her role as an osteopath is to support this process by restoring mobility, relieving tension, and promoting communication between the body’s different structures.

Guided by empathy, curiosity, and respect for life, Elisa brings a gentle yet effective touch to her practice, helping each patient reconnect with their body’s natural rhythm and potential for healing.

Pauline Guilloux

Pauline Guilloux

Osteopath DO

Originally from the Ardennes region in France, Pauline Guilloux is a passionate osteopath now based in Montreal. Sporty, curious, and deeply people-oriented, she brings her expertise to her patients through a holistic and compassionate approach to the body.

Since childhood, Pauline has cultivated a true passion for movement. She has practiced judo since the age of six at the Judo Club of Juniville (France), a discipline that taught her strong values: respect, discipline, and perseverance. These qualities shine through in her professional practice today, where she treats each patient with attentiveness, precision, and care.

Pauline graduated from the Institut National Supérieur d’Ostéopathie (INSO) in Lille, where she completed a comprehensive five-year program that provided her with an in-depth understanding of the human body.

Her training allowed her to explore all facets of osteopathy — structural, visceral, cranial, and fascial — enabling her to adapt each treatment to the patient’s unique needs.

During her studies, Pauline also worked in the restaurant industry, an enriching human experience that taught her rigor, stress management, and above all, the importance of human connection — values she now places at the heart of her osteopathic practice. Each consultation is a genuine exchange, a moment of listening and trust in which the patient is fully considered as an individual.

A lifelong athlete, Pauline has always been drawn to different physical disciplines. In addition to judo, she has practiced CrossFit and even completed the legendary GR20 in Corsica, one of Europe’s most challenging long-distance hikes. This memorable adventure allowed her to push her physical and mental limits, strengthening her belief that movement is essential for both physical and emotional balance.

Thanks to this background, Pauline understands the needs of athletes — from casual exercisers to professionals — on a deep level. In Montreal, she supports individuals engaged in various activities such as running, weight training, yoga, CrossFit, and martial arts, helping them with injury prevention, muscle recovery, and performance optimization. Her approach aims to restore harmony between performance and well-being by promoting mobility, breathing, and tissue recovery.

Pauline sees osteopathy as a comprehensive therapy that considers the whole person — body, mind, and lifestyle. Her treatments are tailored to all ages and all profiles, including:

  • Infants – to help relieve colic, reflux, or sleep disturbances using gentle, safe techniques.
  • Pregnant women – to ease lower back, sciatic, or digestive discomfort caused by postural and hormonal changes during pregnancy.
  • Athletes – to enhance performance, prevent injuries, and support recovery after intense activity.
  • Adults and seniors – to relieve tension, improve posture, and maintain optimal mobility on a daily basis.

Each treatment is based on careful listening, detailed observation, and techniques adapted to the patient’s age, body type, and sensitivity. Pauline focuses on identifying the root cause of pain rather than simply treating symptoms, promoting long-term healing and balance.

Curious and open-minded, Pauline loves discovering new cultures and ways of life. She has traveled to several European countries, including England, Spain, Greece, and Sicily. These journeys have deepened her empathy and her desire to understand people in their diversity.

This global perspective shines through in her work in Montreal, a vibrant and multicultural city she has grown particularly fond of. Here, she finds the richness of human connection and the energy of exchange that continually fuel her passion for health and healing.

At URGENT-OSTEO Clinic, Pauline places great importance on the trusting relationship between osteopath and patient. She creates a safe and welcoming environment where everyone can express themselves freely and without judgment. Her approach is gentle, respectful, and human, aiming to help the body regain its natural capacity for adaptation and self-regulation.

For Pauline, being an osteopath means accompanying each person through all stages of life, helping them better understand their body and restore lasting balance between movement, health, and well-being.

She views every session as a collaboration: she takes time to explain her techniques, answer questions, and provide personalized advice to extend the benefits of treatment at home — including exercises, posture tips, hydration, and recovery routines.

Versatile and dedicated, Pauline combines in her practice everything that defines a committed practitioner: a strong scientific background, a rich athletic experience, deep listening skills, and profound respect for the human body.

By choosing to settle in Montreal, she has embraced a professional environment that reflects her values — open-minded, dynamic, and rooted in natural health. Whether you are an athlete, an expectant mother, a parent, or simply someone seeking greater balance, Pauline offers personalized and compassionate care to help you regain comfort, mobility, and serenity.

Osteopathy: a profession that listens to the body

Osteopathy is a manual therapy based on manipulating the various structures of the human body. Its aim is to identify the causes of symptoms in order to bring the body back into harmony so that it can function better.

Through precise palpation, the osteopath locates mechanical blockages in the skeleton, skull and internal organs. The body is considered to be an indivisible whole. Muscular and digestive disorders can therefore have repercussions on the whole organism.

The osteopath’s aim is not to treat the symptoms, but to determine the causes of your pain. Osteopaths are interested in your body’s history and any previous trauma that may have gone unnoticed.

Osteopaths play a fundamental role in preventing the risk of sports injuries and functional emergencies (sprains, lower back pain, sciatica). However, their field of action also extends to ENT problems, digestive disorders and psychological problems (depression, sleep, stress, etc.).
